Plastic plant pots are very difficult to recycle. Most curbside programs reject them due to their dark color (which sorting lasers can’t detect). To bridge this gap, the Nursery is purchasing TerraCycle collection boxes, ensuring these plastics are repurposed rather than sent to the landfill. There are three collection dates in 2026: Saturday, May 2, July 11 and November 7.
