Victoria Delgado is a full time athlete, training in the martial arts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the last 9years. She is a competitor in the sport, competing under IBJJF. She has achieved a 2x World Champion M1 belt title at Purple & Brown belt & a PAN American Championship title at brown belt. She is also a multiple time International Open Champion. She received her Blackbelt in 2023 under multiple time world champion Leonardo Nogueira and Jacare Calvacanti out of Alliance Headquarters based out of Atlanta, Georgia. When not training Jiu Jitsu, she is personal training clients, teaching Jiu Jitsu and getting in her own training in the gym. She has a heart for women and to see women succeed in this martial art.
Sophia Cassella is a Professional BJJ Competitor. She has been training for 11 years. Some of her major accomplishments include Flograppling ranked #7 at 115lbs, IBJJF ranked #8 for Adult Female Black Belt Nogi Light Feather, WNO Top 5 Fastest Submissions of all time, 4X IBJJF Pan Nogi Champion and Medusa 115lb Champion. In addition to being an avid competitor she is an online Strength and Conditioning Coach. She is the first female black belt under Trenton Cooke, awarded Oct 5, 2024.

Girls in Gis is a community of women and girls in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that come together through donation based training events which are hosted, instructed, and attended only by women and girls. It's our time to come together and take over the mats! Women and girls of all ages and skill levels are welcome to attend from any academy affiliation. We welcome beginners and don't require any experience. Our events are designed for 100% participation. However, we do allow parents or chaperone to accompany underage participants as spectators.

Our events are donation based in order to provide equal opportunity to everyone. Your donations provide paid teaching opportunities for our guest instructor(s) and help to expand and make Girls in Gis programs such as our events, our leadership program and instructional training programs and our scholarships possible. If you are not able to make a donation please contact us and we will work with you so that you are able to participate.
You can also purchase a GIG t-shirt, patches and more GIG merchandise with your donation. All orders can be picked up during the event.
