About this Event
Welcome to the Girls' "Pizza & Play" Event! Join us at the Prestonfield Golf Club at the foot of Arthur's Seat for a fun afternoon with other girls who want to give golf a try.
This event is for girls aged 8-12 who want to learn to play golf and meet some new friends. All golf equipment will be provied - you just need a pair of trainers.
The 1.5 hour session will start with a brief welcome followed by fun games on the putting green, then hitting some golf shots in the Trackman Studio, and finishing with Pizza and a soft drink in the Clubhouse.
Coffee and Tea will be available for parents and relatives, and they are welcome to join the girls as they try out the fun activities on offer.
If the girls enjoy the Pizza & Play taster event, Prestonfield Golf Club has developed a fun 8-week block of golf lessons for groups of girls running from Thurs 7th May to Thurs 25th June, 16:30-17:30 at a total price of £50.
The 8-week block of lessons will be run by profesional golf coaches, and supported by female golf volunteers - all of whom are fully compliant with Scottish Golf's strict SafeGolf Accreditation for Junior Golf programmes.
