About this Event
On February 14, 2026, 1001 Stevies x Pretty Beat present GIRL CULTURE IS SACRED, a Valentine’s Day Abortion Benefit concert, featuring Bay Area bands Ouch!, Baycoin Beats, and Tracey Holland’s supergroup playing the music of our alt teenage crushes: a diverse mix of alt, punk, riot grrrl, R&B, and soul.
Girl Culture Is Sacred is a valentine to our first crush: music. We pay homage to the songs that made us swoon and kick our heels, the artists who taught us to scream and feel our feelings… to the ones who gave us permission to be ourselves.
Since 2017, 1001 Stevies has produced curated concert events that raise funds for abortion access and amplify the fight for reproductive justice, using music to create a space for collective action, healing, and catharsis. In 2025, 1001 Stevies partnered with Pretty Beat, a community arts organization supporting creative leaders of underrepresented genders in music and film, and El Rio, an SF legacy business and long standing haven for the LGBTQ+ community in San Franciscio’s Mission District, to present GIRL CULTURE IS SACRED.
GIRL CULTURE IS SACRED delivers a vibrant declaration that abortion is healthcare - and that we don’t have to do any of this alone. Our Valentine’s Day Abortion Benefit concert is raising funds for Louisiana Abortion Fund, a New Orleans-based nonprofit providing low-barrier access and assistance for reproductive health care throughout the Southern US. Produced in partnership with El Rio and CBHQ, GCIS embeds cultural authorship from luminaries like Kathleen Hanna, Lauryn Hill, and Fiona Apple, boldly reminding us that women, nonbinary, and transmasculine people have always shaped our culture.
DJ sets from DJ Aaron Paul, a Not-So-Silent Auction, food vendor, and specialty swag will round out the programming for this one-of-a-kind Valentine's Day afternoon rager.
