Join us for a night of music, with intimate performances by local AAPI musicians, songwriters, and producers: Jerry Zeng, JONAVI, Kimia Penton, and Rosy L, all while surrounded by artwork by local AAPI artists at the Dallas Asian American Historical Society.

Jerry Zeng
Jerry Zeng is a multi disciplinary creative with a focus on video storytelling, paintings, and music curation.
JONAVI
Born in Cebu, Philippines, JONAVI is an innovative Pop/R&B songwriter and producer with a love for storytelling. Inspired by her experiences with friendships, familial relationships, and romantic love, JONAVI writes songs that are both fresh yet relatable, unique yet familiar. JONAVI released her first EP, "Blue Hour", in 2023 and has since performed for a number of different organizations, including SXSW, House of Blues, SoFar Sounds and YAR.
Kimia Penton
Kimia is a singer, songwriter and violinist based in Dallas. She writes original music to inspire community building and to empower her audience. With a background in organizational psychology, Kimia combines her love of music and psychology to create unique transforming and uplifting experiences through live shows and online courses.
Rosy L
Rosy L is Pop and RnB singer-songwriter originally from Laos. Rosy L. is known for her smooth vocals, and the healing aspect of her lyrics that are focused on mental health, accompanied by her acoustic or electric guitar. Laos is a small land-locked country in Southeast Asia that not many people know about, so Rosy enjoys sharing her Lao culture with her listeners by incorporating Lao lyrics into her songs.
Andy Yu
Andy Yu is a local musician, song writer, & producer born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Being a classically trained violinist since the age of 3, Andy is self taught multiple instruments and music production. Andy has performed at local venues and international festivals including opening for Jimmy Brown and YAR Fest. With over 4 million streams across his catalog, you can find him @ Andy Yu on all streaming platforms.
