The summer is almost over. The evening is warm. Hampstead Heath is waiting. Put on something blue.
Midnight Blue Moonwalk is the sixth event in our Colour Walks 2026 series — a dusk walk across Hampstead Heath to Parliament Hill, arriving at the top as London turns golden and then dark beneath us.
Here's what's happening:
We meet at 7pm and walk together across the Heath to the top of Parliament Hill. The sun sets over London at around 8pm in late August — we'll be at the top for the full golden hour, the blue hour, and the first stars. We walk back down by 9pm.
THE CLOSING CIRCLE
At the top of the hill, we do something that has become a Go Inspire tradition across this summer: we go around the circle, and each woman shares one thing she is proud of from these past three months. One sentence. One moment. One thing she made happen. You don't have to speak if you don't want to. But most women do.
THE DRESS CODE
Blue and silver — navy, cobalt, sky blue, midnight, silver, steel. Bring something that catches the light: a silver bag, metallic trainers, fairy lights worn around your wrist (battery-operated), an LED accessory. As it gets dark, the light becomes the event.
WHAT TO BRING
A warm layer — August evenings on the Heath can be cool by 8:30pm. Flat shoes suitable for grass and uneven ground. Your blue. Something that glows if you have it.
WHY THURSDAY EVENING?
Because the Colour Walks series has always been for every woman — not just women who are free on Saturdays. Thursday evening, warm weather, the last week of August, the Bank Holiday approaching. There is no better time to be on a hill in London watching the summer end.
WHY THIS FEELS DIFFERENT
There's something about dusk on Hampstead Heath that strips away everything unnecessary. By the time you're at the top of Parliament Hill with the city glowing below you, you understand exactly why you came. This event is slower, more reflective, more emotional than the others. That's intentional. The summer deserves a proper farewell.
