Join "Ghouls and Girlies" for our February discussion over drinks. We will talk about non-cryptid anmials. Please research something interesting and share a few minutes of your finding with us. Some examples are animals connected to crimes or hauntings; interesting science or evolution about animals; folklore; historic happenings; phobias; and psychology. These are just some of many sub-topic ideas--and, then please pick something very specific to tell us about during your turn. If you don't have time to research or you would like to attend last minute--please join at our first talk of 2026! Happy Meow Year!
(((Here is a bio of who we are: Are you a girlie obsessed with ghosts, aliens, true crime, cryptids, and anything else eerie or spooky? Do you crave new like-minded friends to accompany you in a deep dive into your favorite creepy topics and share the cozy, warm feeling of a terrifying horror film? Our group began in Oct. 2023. We meet every first Thursday of the month from 7-9pm to discuss topics like a true crime podcast or documentary, a trilogy of horror movies, a gothic fiction novel title, personal experiences and beliefs about spirits, historical sightings of Mothman or the Loch Ness Monster, etc. We also organize extra events, like going to the movies, listening to a live lecture expert, or going on haunted tours. [We are LGBTQ-inclusive. We welcome anyone female/femme/trans/non-binary of age 21+. We are disability-inclusive]. Please feel free to ask me, your host Jen, of any questions))).
