The Twisted Spine is celebrating our first holiday season with an evening of ghostly tales around the fireplace! Entry to this event is free and will be limited on a first come-first serve basis. Please note that RSVP does not guarantee entry - arrive early to grab a seat!

Jak Malone is an Olivier and Tony award winning actor and writer from Merseyside, England. He is best known for originating the role of Hester Leggatt in the smash hit musical Operation Mincemeat. Jak is an avid horror fan who loves nothing more than a good ghost story!
Nat Cassidy writes horror for the page, stage, and screen. His acclaimed novels, including When the Wolf Comes Home (USA Today Bestseller; called "a classic" by Stephen King), Mary: An Awakening of Terror (one of Audible's "Top 100 Horror Novels of All Time"), Nestlings, and Rest Stop (Bram Stoker Award nominee), have been featured in best-of lists from Esquire, Harper's Bazaar, NPR, the Chicago Review of Books, the NY Public Library, Amazon, and more, and he was named one of the "writers shaping horror’s next golden age" by Esquire. His award-winning horror plays have been produced throughout New York City and across the United States. He won the NY Innovative Theatre Award for his one-man show about H. P. Lovecraft, another for his play about Caligula, and was commissioned by the Kennedy Center to write the libretto for a short opera (about the end of the world, of course).
Clay McLeod Chapman is the author of Wake Up and Open Your Eyes, K*ll Your Darling, Stay on the Line, What Kind of Mother, Ghost Eaters, Whisper Down the Lane, The Remaking, and miss corpus, story collections nothing untoward, commencement and rest area, as well as The Tribe middlegrade series: Homeroom Headhunters, Camp Cannibal and Academic Assassins.
Upcoming books include the short story collection Acquired Taste (September 2025), the YA sci-fi/horror novel Shiny Happy People (November 2025), the novella Bodies of Work (April 2026) and the Harlequin “horrormance” novel Devil Inside (August 2026).
He has been nominated for the Bram Stoker and Shirley Jackson Award.
Erin Crosby Eckstine is an author of speculative historical fiction. Her debut novel JUNIE was selected for the Good Morning America book club.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Eckstine grew up between the South and Los Angeles before moving to New York City to attend Barnard College. She earned a master's in secondary English education from Stanford University and taught high school English for six years. She lives in Brooklyn with her partner and their cats.
Xero Gravity is a genre journalist, media personality, and loyal New Yorker with a focus on horror, sci-fi and dark fantasy. Xero engages her audiences through podcasts, interviews, and community events while celebrating marginalized narratives in horror media.
