About this Event
Ghost story performance: The Cry of the Bubák
Written and performed by Adam Z. Robinson
Join storyteller Adam Z. Robinson as he performs his ghost story 'The Cry of the Bubák'. A haunted man flees to a health facility in mainland Europe to escape his past, only to have it catch up with him in a most horrifying way. Guaranteed to make the flesh creep.
The performance (25 minutes) will be followed by a Q and A, as Adam chats about his work for the theatre, including his new production Nightmares. Refreshments will be available.
This event takes place in person and is hosted by the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies at Manchester Poetry Library. The Poetry Library is fully accessible.
Adam will be touring his brand new show NIGHTMARES October - November 2024. The show, which is made up of three classic ghost stories, will tour to twenty-three venues nationally. For a full list of dates and venues, visit:
If you'd like to produce ghost stories of your own, you might also be interested in coming along to this workshop earlier the same day, where you can join Adam for some tips on writing your own spooky fiction: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ghost-story-writing-workshop-with-adam-z-robinson-tickets-1020479400357?aff=oddtdtcreator
