Ghirardelli Pop-Up on Empire State Building’s 86th Floor Observation Deck

The Empire State Building is turning 95, and to celebrate, the iconic landmark is partnering with Ghirardelli to launch a limited-time pop-up on the 86th Floor Observation Deck.

 
Launching today (April 10–May 10), the experience features the ESB-exclusive Kong Sundae, created specifically to mark the anniversary and inspired by the building’s place in pop culture.

 
Served at the top of one of NYC’s most recognizable landmarks, it’s a true “only in New York” moment, pairing a classic Ghirardelli sundae with panoramic skyline views. The Kong Sundae features vanilla ice cream topped with Ghirardelli’s signature hot fudge, whipped cream, diced almonds, a cherry, and a chocolate Kong.

• When: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily

• Where: 86th Floor Observation Deck, Empire State Building, 20 W. 34th St. (between 5th and 6th Avenues)

• Dates: April 10 to May 10

The pop-up will serve the Kong Sundae alongside Ghirardelli’s Classic Hot Cocoa, making it a sweet stop for visitors taking in the city from the 360-degree outdoor observation deck.
