Ever wondered how to turn your personal experiences into compelling stories for the stage? Join former Moth StorySLAM manager Robin Wachsberger for a fun, zero-pressure introduction to the art of storytelling.
In this 3-hour workshop, you'll explore the basics of crafting and sharing personal narratives, discover creative writing techniques to mine your life for meaningful stories, and get a taste of what makes a story work on stage - no experience necessary!
Robin brings professional expertise from managing The Moth's international StorySLAM series in NYC, plus years of coaching storytellers and running her own Tall Poppies Storytelling series in Auckland.
Come discover the storyteller within you in a supportive environment where everyone has stories worth sharing.

This is an introduction to our signature "complete course" in Storytelling.
Storytelling Auckland (w Robin Wachsberger)
Transform your personal experiences into compelling stage stories in this hands-on intensive course. Learn creative writing techniques to mine your life for meaningful narratives, master the craft of building suspense and emotion, and develop the stagecraft skills to deliver with confidence. Small group classes (max 10 students) include individual coaching sessions and culminate in a professional graduation show where you'll perform your polished 5-10 minute story. No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and willingness to discover the storyteller within you.
