About this Event
The Don has always carried stories. Long before industry and highways, the Don River was Wonscotonach (“waasay-ishkode-nayosh”)—a bright, shining point.
Join and member John Wilson for a guided tour uncovering the river’s Indigenous and industrial histories and its journey of renewal. Together, we’ll walk the watershed’s hidden paths, tracing the marks of human change and citizen-led efforts to restore the Don.
This walk invites you to listen to the land and water, notice what is hidden in plain sight, and reconnect with the Don as a living archive of memory and transformation—all are welcome.
Rain or shine, the river flows in all weather.
