Get Hooked on Fishing: Belle Isle ParkSaturday, June 27

Looking to learn more about the fish found in Detroit River and how to fish? Participants will be introduced to the parts of a fish and how to identify fish in this catch-and-release fishing program.
Equipment, bait and instruction will be provided; beginners are welcome!
Participants must be age 8 or older.
Participants should dress for outdoor activities.
You must purchase a fishing license (available at Michigan.gov/DNRLicenses) if you are 17 years of age or older to fish. Participants under the age of 17 may fish without a license.
Note that this is an offsite program taking place at Belle Isle Park. We will meet at the Belle Isle Nature Center parking lot, located at located at 176 Lakeside Drive.
Preregistration is required. Cost is $5 per family.
A Recreation Passport [https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/buy-and-apply/rec-pp] is required to enter Belle Isle Park.
