Celebrate a decade of accomplishments with GES community leaders including: acquiring and stewarding homes, a food forest, and 2 new multi-family affordable rental projects that will include community ownership components.
5 stops through the GES neighborhoods will showcase Tierra Colectiva projects and stories from GES neighbors, and feature neighborhood micro-entrepreneurs snacks and drinks. Cocktails and appetizers will be served at the final-stop reception from 4:00-5:00pm.
See the impact the Coalition has had in the neighborhood by actually creating housing and having organized neighbors use community ownership structures to create accountable and community oriented development. Hear lessons learned from Community Benefit Agreement structures and ways to incorporate Community Ownership into partnerships with public and private developers and investment.
