Osokins’ first project with the label is the album For Arvo, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the great Estonian composer Arvo Pärt. Pärt is a towering figure in 20th–21st century music. His journey — from radical avant-garde to sacred minimalism (the so-called “new simplicity”) through his own tintinnabuli style — represents a profound spiritual quest that reflects the inner transformations of an entire era. For Arvo is a unique project conceived by the pianist, featuring both original works by Pärt and new piano transcriptions created by Osokins. Many of Pärt’s iconic compositions will be heard for the first time in solo piano versions.
