About this Event

Join us for a celebration of spring, creativity and art at the Georgetown Spring Art Walk on March 22nd, 2025 from 12:00 PM -5:00 PM.


The event will feature over a dozen local venues showcasing a diverse range of artwork, including paintings and mixed media pieces plus art workshops and live music!

Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to meet and chat with the artists, learn about their inspirations and creative processes, and purchase unique pieces to add to your collection.

Greet the Main Street team at Addison/Ripley Fine Art at the top of the hill and work your way down Wisconsin Avenue, discovering new art, independent businesses, and hidden gems along the way.

1 . Addison/Ripley Fine Art, 1670 Wisconsin Ave NW

Exhibit: TREVOR YOUNG: New Work

Description: Devoid of sentiment but not of romantic allusions, the paintings in this curated selection of works by Trevor Young favor night settings and dramatic lighting. They are unfailingly painterly, often involving complex structures and industrial middle grounds or quasi urban scenes.



2. Washington Printmakers Gallery, 1675 Wisconsin Ave NW

Exhibit: Mixed Takes by Susan Campbell

Description: This exhibit will feature a solo exhibit by Susan Campbell and photography and prints by the Washington Printmakers Gallery members.



3. Klagsbrun Studios, 1662 33rd St NW

Exhibit: Collection of Works from 1) ROBIN BELL: Embracing Imperfection, 2) MICHELINE KLAGSBRUN : Recent Work, 3) The TUESDAY NIGHT GROUP: New Work

Description: Klagsbrun Studios are working studios, open by appointment and for neighborhood events, salons and workshops. Robin Bell has created an immersive room at Klagsbrun Studios by expanding his series of 3D projected structures. Micheline Klagsbrun's mixed-media works on paper and sculpture evoke times of transition and memory.



4. Hunter & Huntress, 1665 Wisconsin Ave NW

Exhibit: Nanna Wood and Marble Sculptures

Description: Hunter & Huntress is Book Hill's newest boutique. Discover vintage items and unique homegoods in this cozy showroom. Featuring Marble and Wooden Sculptures hand made in San Miguel De Allende for the Spring Art Walk.



5. Ally Banks, 1661 Wisconsin Ave NW

Exhibit: Ally Banks Showroom

Description: A gallery wall of vintage art pieces of various styles, origins, and time periods.



6. Pillar & Post, 1647 Wisconsin Ave NW

Exhibit: Pillar & Post Showroom

Description: In addition to English antiques and home decor, Pillar & Post has a selection of original paintings by English and Welsh artists and antique prints and engravings.



7. Calloway Fine Art & Consulting, 1643 Wisconsin Ave NW

Exhibit: Apparitions - Photography by Matthew Karas

Description: Apparitions, a new collection of photography by Matthew Karas, is a creative collaboration with professional dancers, capturing echoes of the past and glimpses into the future using an innovative single-exposure technique, resulting in dream-like meditations that intertwine physical and spiritual forms.



8. Gallery Article 15, 1624 Wisconsin Ave NW

Exhibit: Jubilee d’Or: Celebrating 50 years of Chéri Chérin’s Career

Description: This solo exhibition by Chéri Chérin, one of the fathers of contemporary Congolese art, showcases the artist’s story-telling through paintings of current social and political issues and daily life. His style reflects the world he embodies: colorful, vibrant, chaotic and oftentimes humorous.

Exhibit: Uplift

Description: The exhibition Uplift celebrates art’s transformative power, reflecting the vitality and renewal of spring through refreshing botanical elements and the energy of abstractions, showcasing art’s ability to elevate the spirit, much like spring itself.

Exhibit: SHE:DC

Description: SHE:DC is an initiative to illuminate women and non-binary entrepreneurs, powered by Shop Made in DC. In March, correlating with Women’s History Month, we celebrate and support women and non-binary artists in a variety of events including a curated art show featuring 200+ pieces from 150+ women and nonbinary artists, panel discussions and popups with emerging businesses and a final pitch competition for the SHE:DC Microgrant.
