About this Event

Famed opera singer Marian Anderson (1897-1993) delivered a historic performance at the Lincoln Memorial, on Easter Sunday 1939. Join artist Donnell Lewis in a conversation about Anderson, and the ways he and other Washington, D.C. artists rendered the musical legend in their art.

Come early to explore the current exhibition: "A Bold and Beautiful Vision: A Century of Black Arts Education in Washington, DC, 1900-2000".
