A winner of the 2019 American Pianists Awards and creator of the Masters Legacy Series, Cohen’s performances are a perfect blend of technical mastery, soulful expression, and infectious energy. Known for headlining at iconic venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Village Vanguard, and appearing at prestigious festivals such as Newport and Monterey, Cohen brings a fresh and engaging style to jazz that resonates with audiences worldwide. His "Live from Emmett's Place" apartment concerts in Harlem which started during COVID and have become quite a hit with the jazz community and continue to bring new fans to jazz. Emmet Cohen, Piano.
