Book Description
The Secret Teachings of Gemcutting is a collection of classic gemstone cutting designs spanning 500 years. 50 gemstone designs are presented with full colour photos, design information, cutting advice, and historical background.

Author Bio
Justin Prim
Justin is an American Gemcutter living and working in France. He has studied gemcutting traditions all over the world as well as attending gemology programs at GIA and AIGS. Justin has taught gemology and gemcutting at AIGS and IGT in Bangkok as well as his own Faceting Bootcamp course worldwide. In 2021 he published his first book, The Secret Teachings of Gemcutting, and now its sequel, The Historic Teachings of Gemcutting, is in the process of being published. Justin also writes articles, produces videos, and gives talks about gemcutting history.
