Her emotionally rich voice, thoughtful songwriting, and magnetic stage presence have earned her multiple Icelandic Music Awards and a loyal following both at home and abroad.
This year’s Airwaves performance promises something different — a stripped-back, acoustic reinterpretation of her songs, highlighting the raw emotion and musicianship at the core of her work.
Joining her on stage is Reynir Snær, an accomplished guitarist also known by his project name Creature of Habit. Together, they’ll reinterpret GDRN’s material in delicate, organic arrangements that highlight her soulful vocals and Reynir’s expressive guitar work.
