Join us for a panel discussion on the science, ethics, and business of dream neurotech in an era of rapid technological change.
About this Event

This panel discussion will explore today’s biggest questions about the future of dream neurotechnology, the place where dreams and technology meet. Devices and applications that directly interface with the dreaming mind hold the potential to revolutionize problem solving, creativity and well-being – as well as to manipulate and surveil our subconscious minds.

Join us for a crucial conversation about the future of human consciousness in an era of rapid technological change. This moderated discussion will explore the science, ethics, and business aspects of this new tech, considering questions such as: what are the consequences of technology that grafts directly onto our minds? What does a neuroethics of dream tech look like?

This discussion will feature Senior Lecturer of Philosophy Dr. Nathanial Blower, filmmaker and researcher Saelyx Finna, Professor of Philosophy and Integrated Biosciences Dr. Dimitria E. Gatzia, and Professor of Intellectual Property Law & Technology Emily Michiko Morris. The conversation will be moderated by civic organizer Kate Tucker.

This event is free to attend, but registration is requested. Light refreshments will be offered during the event.
