This event marks the first Garifuna Social hosted outside of NYC, expanding The Garifuna Market’s work to build meaningful cultural experiences in cities beyond our home base.
Garifuna Social Boston is an evening offering both reflection and joy. Agenda will include a traditional Garifuna cultural performance, a moderated panel discussion centered on culture and community, and an open social portion with drinks, music, dancing, and conversation.
Designed to feel accessible yet elevated, this gathering welcomes Garifuna community members, friends of the culture, students, creatives, and those curious to learn more—whether you are already deeply rooted or newly learning more about our Garifuna culture.
