Join us for a hands-on workshop on starting seeds indoors with Kate Garland, Horticulturist from the University of Maine Cooperative Extension. Learn best practices for timing, lighting, soil selection, and seed care, then plant your own seeds to take home and grow.
At the same time, UMaine Cooperative Extension 4-H Community Education Assistant Emily Bishop will lead children in seed-themed activities, including a story and a hands-on planting activity to take home.
