Join Bangor-based singer-songwriter Rachel Blackerby on Sunday, April 12 • 3:00–5:00 PM for a relaxed and engaging afternoon of live music. With more than 24 years of professional performing experience, Rachel brings a warm stage presence, an easy sense of humor, and a genuine connection with her audience. Her music blends indie folk, rock, blues, and jazz-influenced acoustic sounds, performed primarily on acoustic guitar. Rachel’s shows are known for their laid-back atmosphere—expect great songs, storytelling, and friendly conversation between tunes. In addition to performing, Rachel is an active supporter of the local music community in Bangor, hosting two open mic events, including one dedicated to original songwriting. Her passion for supporting fellow musicians has helped create a vibrant space for local artists to share their work. Rachel is also exploring the possibility of bringing a “Songwriters in the Round” format to a future event—featuring several songwriters sharing songs and stories on stage, Nashville-style.
