Not So Silent Cinema is a Philly-based ensemble that performs new, original music to classic silent film. With over a decade of performing the group has developed a unique approach to the lost art of live film score performance, an approach which moves seamlessly between improvisation and written music. This performance features bandleader and composer Brendan Cooney on piano, Carlos Santiago on violin, Chris Coyle on bass and Larry Goldfinger on clarinet.
