It's that time of year again! Our Native Plant Garden at Cheyenne Mountain State Park needs a lot of love! We've already had some awesome volunteers led by botany expert, Pat, and CMSP employee, Rachael, help us get the garden a bit more under control. There is still a lot of work to be done! Join us to help beautify the space, pull weeds, and give the plants a better chance of thriving. Pat will give guidance on what stays and what goes. This work session will be held from 5:30PM-8:00PM. Friends of Cheyenne Mountain State Park will be providing hot dogs and beverages for volunteers.
Meet at the Visitor Center! No entrance fee is required to volunteer. Just tell the staff that you're there to volunteer.
Please bring water, sunscreen, snacks, and dress appropriate to the weather.
