About this Event
Enjoy the abundant native plants at the Bear Creek Nature Center while learning some botany and interesting plant facts along the way. While the walk will be short (likely less than 2 miles), the initial section is an uphill climb from creek to the top of the meadows. You will see at least two ecosystems along the way.
Please come prepared with good walking/hiking shoes, hat & sunscreen, a water bottle, hiking poles (if desired), and a positive attitude. Arrive 15 minutes early (8:15am) to sign in and sign a waiver and emergency contact form.
Proceeds will be shared to benefit both Bear Creek Nature Center programs and the Horticulture Program at CSU Extension in El Paso County.
