----About the featured artist:
Will Stroet of Will's Jams is a Juno nominated children's artist and former star of the CBC Kids series "Will's Jams" which aired daily from 2013-2019. Along with his current collaborator, Seeka of Seeka Sings, he is also nominated for a 2025 WCMA. Will, a former VSB teacher, has performed over 3000 shows across Canada and China in theatres, festivals and schools. His high-energy and highly participatory show never fails to engage audiences of all ages.
Will's current project is a new album called "My Best Friends" and features 12 new songs all co-written with other children's artists from across Canada. New singles are coming out every 2-3 weeks and feature artists such as Charlotte Diamond, Al Simmons, Beppie, The Zing Zangs and The Oot n Oots to name a few.
----COME HAVE A GANDER, STAY FOR A JAM!
The Gander Jam is a groove-centered improv jam on the first and third Wednesday of every month. We begin the night with a featured act at 8:30pm to showcase local talent, acts range solo solo folk to punk bands to jazz trios and more! Then after that the jams begin at 9pm, instrumentalists and vocalists and more are rotated throughout the night to create new sounds and interact in this musical playground. Expression and creativity are nourished in an uplifting space. All intruments and voices are welcome!
*** if you don't sing or play an instrument, the dance floor always has roomm for one more goose!
----Cover is $10 or PWYC
