Gretel Bergmann was a world class athlete who tied (and unofficially) broke the German high-jump record for women.
Both were Jewish. Both were compelled to compete in the 1936 Berlin Olympics for the Reich. These two remarkable women are brought to life in this multi-award-winning play, directed by Todd Lewis.
