Game of Shrooms FREE Mushroom Hunt

The Game of Shrooms is an annual international art-and-seek event where artists from around the world create mushroom-themed art and hide it in public spaces for anyone to discover and take home. It’s an event for the community, creativity, and thrilling treasure hunting.

There will be 25 handcrafted pottery mushrooms, each lovingly made by the Potterings co-op members Em (@emopottery), Nina, Alison, Malaika and Lora, and ready to find new homes for lucky West Seattle residents. Will you be one of the lucky finders? This is super family-friendly and FREE!

We are delighted to be a part of Game of Shrooms again this year! It’s a fantastic way to connect with our community, spread a little joy, and share our love for pottery. We’ve poured a lot of heart into creating these mushrooms, and we can’t wait for them to find their new homes.

1. Be ready to explore West Seattle! Get ready for the mushroom hunt on Saturday, June 13! Clues will be released right here on this page at 8 AM, 11 AM and 1 PM. We will post updates as mushrooms are found.

2. Follow the Clues! We’ll be updating the page with hints and locations to guide your search. Keep this page handy and be sure to check our social media on IG @potteringclasses FB Pottering Classes and TikTok @pottering.classes.

3. Explore West Seattle! Our 25 pottery mushrooms are hidden in various iconic public spaces across our beautiful neighborhood. Happy exploring!

4. Find & Keep! If you find one of our pottery mushrooms, congratulations! It’s yours to take home and cherish.

5. Snap a Picture! Each mushroom will have the Potterings email QR code. Snap a picture and send it to us. Bonus: Post the photo to your social media. Tag us @potteringclasses #potterings
