About this Event
In this session from the brand-new ERNI Game Dev Community collaborating with the Data & AI Community, we will explore how to develop an end-to-end video game using AI in different parts of the process: from 3D assets generation, music, code assistance or even embedding NLP and Language AI Models inside the game's code, among other interesting and cutting-edge techniques.
The session will be performed by a team of ERNIans who just participated in the Patient73 Game Jam 2024. The challenge was to develop a video game inspired in Rare Diseases using AI. They have developed a 3D game in Unity called CatAstrophIA where you can choose one out of 3 different players, each affected by a different rare disease. The game goal is to survive for 7 days and nights inside a procedurally generated world, achieving the largest possible score and fighting against robot enemies who are trying to invade your planet.
This event will be the kick-off from the new Game Dev Community at ERNI, lead by Helena Tanco.
