About this Event
As GDC takes over San Francisco, we’re posing a different question: what realities do games reproduce—and which ones can we hack, especially in times like this?
Join the game collective Reality Reload, a team currently building H1B.Life—a narrative simulation that attempts to reload the unpredictability of the U.S. immigration system into a playable experience. We are eager to share our raw methodology and the demo we are developing, as well as the challenges we encounter along the way.
In an era where genuine communication feels increasingly difficult and individual voices are often erased by rigid systems, we believe games can serve as a vital medium to respond to reality and care for the individual.
We invite you to question the rules, bring your own lived glitches into the room, and see how individual stories can be reconstructed as systems we navigate together.
This event is free of charge with the purchase of a museum entrance ticket, which grants you full access to museum exhibits throughout the evening.
Please purchase the ticket at the reception or online
The event will be held at Samsung Hall on the 2nd floor.
