In celebration of Earth Day, join Manager of Visitor Experience Isabel on Sunday, April 12 at 1 p.m. for a guided tour of Rauschenberg Sculpture. Robert Rauschenberg designed the first Earth Day poster in 1970 to benefit the American Environment Foundation in Washington, D.C., and it was published in an edition of 10,300 by Castelli Graphics, New York. Besides being one of the most innovative artists of the postwar generation, Rauschenberg was also a devoted environmentalist, who in his lifetime made numerous posters and prints to support causes close to his heart, of which this was the first.
FREE for Nasher Members and Military or First Responders, $5 for students and educators, $7 for seniors (65+), $10 for adults. This tour is included with museum admission.
