Bring a friend or make a new one while exploring textile printing with pinks and reds on the day of love!Join for an afternoon of making in our Textile Studio to learn new approaches to design, a variety of print processes and combine stitch with print, to revisit or discover your love of textiles.
This course offers a practical exploration into surface print design through techniques including block printing, screen printing and hand embroidery. The tutor will guide you through the process of creating your own unique designs from primary sources to create printed paper and fabric, which you can embellish with stitch.
Make a number of samples and a small finished piece like a notebook or iPad cover to take home.
The afternoon will finish with a group dinner in our KILN restaurant from 5pm - 7pm to socialise and relax with new friends.
Your meal will include a welcome glass of prosecco followed by:
An individual stone-baked freshly made pizza of your choice.
