Gal Go est le projet du multi-instrumentiste Ignacio Salvadores, né à Buenos Aires et installé à Londres depuis 2016. Collaborateur clé d’Archy Marshall (King Krule), il a contribué à l’album The Ooz, nommé au Mercury Prize, et laissé son empreinte sur les disques Man Alive! et Space Heavy. Sous le pseudonyme Gal Go, il compose, enregistre et mixe lui-même ses morceaux dans son home studio, façonnant un univers singulier où jazz, folk, rock et expérimentations sonores se rencontrent.
Gal Go navigue entre mélancolie et exaltation, souvent porté par une instrumentation foisonnante et une voix habitée, chantée en espagnol. Une manière pour lui de relier ses deux mondes – l’Amérique du Sud et l’Europe – avec intensité et poésie.
Sur scène, il forme un duo complice avec le musicien belge Frederick Daelemans, entre délicatesse acoustique et fulgurances sonores.
