We’re excited to announce the Gaahleri × BC Hobbies Summer Tour 2026 — a hands-on community airbrush showcase event happening Sunday, June 21 (Father’s Day), from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the mall common area outside BC Hobbies. This will be a full afternoon of airbrush demos, product tryouts, prizes, a community model display, and event-day specials.Product Demo Zone
Get hands-on with Gaahleri airbrushes and compressors in our fully staffed demo area. Visitors can test different setups, learn proper handling techniques, and experience airbrushing firsthand in a guided environment. Demo sessions are timed to ensure everyone gets a chance to participate. Protective masks and gloves will be provided.
*NOTE: You will not be painting your own models here. You will be provided materials for testing and timed for 2 minutes to ensure everyone has a turn. You are more than welcome to line up again to try another airbrush/compressor!
Free-Spray Zone
When lining up to try the Product Demo Zone, you'll be able to use the Free-Spray Zone. Here, you can freely experiment with some Gaahleri airbrushes on practice sheets while waiting for the Product Demo Zone. Staff will be available to answer questions.
The Maze Game
Think you’ve got steady trigger & wrist control? Test your skills in our interactive Airbrush Maze Game. Using an airbrush loaded with water-based colour, participants must spray through a printed maze without touching the edges to win a prize bag! One attempt per turn — line up again for another shot! One prize per attendee while supplies last.
Model Showcase
Do you have a masterpiece you're proud of? Bring your finished, painted model kit and show it off for the duration of the event! The showcase celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the art of model painting in our local hobby community.
NOTE: Do not leave your model with us unattended, be sure to take it with you. We are not responsible for lost model kits!
Photo Booth
Bring your finished model kits or painted miniatures and have them professionally photographed at our dedicated hobby photo booth. Featuring studio lighting and a clean backdrop setup, this is a great opportunity to get high-quality photos of your work for social media, portfolios, or personal collections.
NOTE: All photos will be available on our event page via a download link a few days after the event.
Summer Tour Raffle
Attendees will have the chance to enter raffles featuring hobby prizes! Prize categories may include various types of scale models including sci-fi, anime & Gunpla, miniatures, hobby tools, and other painting-related products. The draw occurs after the event, winners will be contacted the next day.
