Shaping the Future of our Community and West Virginia
Following the official close of the filing period, West Virginia Secretary of State Kris Warner recently announced that over 2,600 candidates have stepped forward to seek election in the May 12, 2026, Primary Election. These individuals are vying for critical positions across state, county, and municipal levels.
With all 100 House of Delegates seats and 19 Senate seats on the ballot, this primary will define the legislative makeup of West Virginia for years to come. Furthermore, our Congressional seats are in play, with many incumbents facing new challengers in both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives.
Our Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce invites you to hear directly from those who wish to lead us.
