About this Event
Future Fashion Fair is hosting an 'Open Mic Discussion in collaboration with Nudie Jeans, an evening of open dialogue and community exchange on the future of fashion.
This session invites our community, friends, and partners to challenge how we think about the fashion industry, exploring how we can shape a more responsible and sustainable future for both society and business.
All attendees are welcome to contribute to open discussion, whether you’re ready to take the floor and share your perspective or prefer to listen, learn, and discuss with others before and after we start. It’s an open, informal space for constructive dialogue and real talk.
We will have free beers available on the night, provided by Shindigger.
Theme of Discussion:
“Does Doing Good Justify Doing More?”
As we come together at Nudie Jeans, a brand known for its commitment to longevity, repair, and circularity, we want to open a conversation that both celebrates this approach and challenges the broader realities of fashion and consumption.
The passage of dialogue:
- If a brand makes clothes to last forever, should it still feed our appetite for newness?
- Can a company keep selling and still make a positive impact?
- Is our consumption of newness the elephant in the room, or simply an inevitable challenge to balance?
- How can we push for new kinds of engagement, interaction, and activation with brands and products?
