Open Space Arts (OSA) is thrilled to announce the launch of FUSION, a brand-new performance series blending the energy of Broadway with the intimacy of cabaret. The inaugural event, “FUSION: A Holiday Happening!”, will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the iconic Lips Chicago (2229 S. Michigan Ave.).This one-night-only holiday celebration promises an unforgettable evening where Broadway hits, holiday classics, and cabaret sparkle collide— all to benefit the programs of Open Space Arts, Chicago’s home for innovative, inclusive theater and film.

“FUSION is all about bringing people together through music, story, and celebration,” says David Zak, Director of Open Space Arts. “Launching the series during the holidays is the perfect way to create joy, raise funds for our work, and showcase some of Chicago’s most exciting talent.”
OSA’s mission is to support artists, uplift underrepresented voices, and provide a stage for bold, inclusive storytelling. Proceeds from FUSION: A Holiday Happening! will benefit OSA’s theater productions, film screenings, and educational programming.
