About this Event
CAM1 - Designing your project is only half the fun of Fusion 360. Getting your design manufactured is the next step. Whether you are cutting the parts yourself on a desktop CNC, plasma cutter, or any other of the hundreds of ways to physically create your piece, understanding setup and tool paths is critical to success. This first session with explore the basic functionality of the Manufacture tab in Fusion 360 and discuss setups, tools and posting to machine code.
Topics covered:
- Tools and Toll Library
- Post Code
- Order of Operations
- Feed and Speeds
- Heights
- Material Setups
Fusion 360 Intensives are deep dives in to specific topics of the program. Students can choose to take those sessions that are of interest to them and do not need to take those that address functions of Fusion that are not. By choosing which Intensives to attend, participants can tailor their Fusion 360 courses to their needs and goals.
Prerequisties: Students should have either attended the Intro to Fusion 360 class or have a working knowledge of basic functions as well as access to a license level with the functionality being addressed in the particular session.
