Fused Glass Bird and Bonus Pocket Heart Workshop FULLY BOOKED

In this fused glass workshop , participants will have the opportunity to create a fused glass bird using sheet glass and frit . You will draw your design first and then you will learn the techniques of scoring and breaking glass before being given some clear glass from which you will create base. You will then use coloured sheet glass to create the top of your bird. The completed bird will be fired in a kiln and attached to a wooden log slice before being ready for collection 4-5 days later from either the Westhill Studio or H1. Your off cuts will then be used to create a bonus pocket heart.
You will be provided with all the materials, safety goggles and a dust mask if required. Please do not wear open toed shoes during the workshop.
