'Kapele PoPieronie' @ 8th Polish-Scottish Mini Festival. The PoPieronie String Quartet, from Żywiec formed by four talented and experienced musicians. Their repertoire includes both traditional highland songs and their own compositions, and their work is influenced by the music of the borderland of Polish, Slovak and Hungarian cultures. The quartet's performing skills appeal to both lovers of classical music and fans of improvised music and jazz. The PoPieronie collective are not only educated musicians, but also dedicated promoters of highlander culture.
