Furnishing Futures - MHO Furniture Bank Fundraising Event
Join us for a powerful and hope-filled evening as we officially open Matthew House Ottawa’s new Furniture Bank - a space built by community, for community.
Last year, the Furniture Bank helped furnish 1,500 homes across Ottawa. This year, with our expanded space, our goal is 2,000.
On Thursday, April 16th, we will celebrate this milestone and invite our community to help close the final $100,000 needed to fully fund the expansion.
Guests will:
• Experience the new Furniture Bank space
• Hear a powerful story of transformation
• Learn what this expansion makes possible for our city
• Take part in a collective Fund-a-Need moment to help furnish hundreds more homes
There is no obligation to give — but for those who feel inspired, there will be an opportunity to help complete this important chapter.
Expect a warm, cocktail-style gathering with light food stations, guided impact walks, and a short, inspiring program.
