Greasy Razzels - Funk loving Blues players from Santa Cruz, Delivers High Energy, Guitar and Drum Santa Cruz, Delivers High Energy, Guitar and Drum driven Grooves to make your Body Move!
Vinny Johnson on Guitar and Vocals, Spencer Ellison on Drums and Vocals and Andy "Bass Mountain" Jonsson on the Low Notes. See you on the Dance Floor!
Glamour Muscle- Glamour Muscle is an elite team of musicians that have left behind their lives as former bodybuilding competitors, and retired oil boys. This quartet brings you a pumped up protein shake of spiritual jazz, 60s soul, and funk grit. Composed of Nevada musicians, Alex Korostinsky, Mark Sexton, and Chris Sexton (Whatitdo Archive Group, The Sextones) and Canadian-born Reno transplant, Dan “Tall Dan” Chown (Tasmic). The Glamor Muscle crew is an unapologetic serving of funk and soul paying homage to the great behind the scenes studio bands of the 1960s and 1970s. Motown had the Funk Brothers, LA had the Wrecking Crew, and the high deserts of Nevada have Glamour Muscle.
DJ True Love - AKA DJ Mutable lives by the belief that musical self expression has the power to change lives, just as her DJ alias reflects transformation and adaptability in its meaning. Drawing on her roots in the Soviet Union, where music was censored by the regime, leading enterprising music lovers to figure out how to record it onto discarded x-rays and share the bootlegs in the "Bone Records" phenomenon, she embodies a commitment to sharing music without restraint. This history fuels her passion to adapt to any threats to self-expression, and in turn uplift and unite communities. With a nod to the irony of the word "mutable" seeming to allude to being silenced or muted, she declares with conviction that she will continue being expressive and amplified.
Funksalot - With 2 turntables, 10 fingers and 11 toes Funksalot lives and breathes grooves found only on the mothership. Funksalot immerses his audience in a world where the bass is rich and the beats are relentless. His passion for music is evident in every set, where he is no stranger to the power of the heavy low end.
By attending, you’ll be helping The Beauty Project Foundation provide beauty and self-care services to individuals experiencing financial distress. 💖
Let’s dance, sparkle, and spread love together!
