Northern Justice Watch (NJW) is a Canada-based collective of human rights activists, legal practitioners, educators, and journalists committed to fighting crimes against humanity and amplifying the voices of oppressed communities worldwide.
Why This Afternoon Matters:
Hate crimes reported to police in Canada have more than doubled in recent years. NJW works to combat hate speech and advance accountability through advocacy and education.
Millions of girls worldwide remain blocked from education by conflict, poverty, and discrimination. NJW supports campaigns expanding educational access for girls in vulnerable communities.
We also remain committed to raising awareness for Yazidi women and girls affected by genocide and displacement. More than a decade after ISIS’ attacks on the Yazidi community, thousands of women and children remain missing.
Our Fundraising Event is more than an event. It is an opportunity to bring people together for awareness, advocacy, and action. Every contribution supports initiatives focused on justice, education access, victim advocacy, and humanitarian impact. Together, we can build a world rooted in dignity, accountability, and hope!
