Helloo.
Me an interesectional artist is exploring "the displacement" for what it means to me individually as well as collectivetly for some years now. Part of it and to fundraise for the country - I am curating a heartwarming evening filled with films, poems around lived experiences of displacement, music to dance to - and importantly Penny's Pantry Burmese Vegan yummy scran are back to the club.
I am collaborating with to share arts and community spirit and warmth for the day.
For people who dont know , its established in 1981, which is now owned and ran by its members as a collective based upon anarchist principles. Its activities include social and political campaigning, and the building is used as a self-managed social centre; acting as host for a range of arts activities, gigs and sports clubs.
I will keep you an update of what to expect closer to time. But for now, make sure you pop the date in the calendar. Its 23rd May 2026 which is on Saturday, the Paste Up Festival is going to be starting at noon, but come pop by at anytime.
