We’re excited to welcome a new partner dance instructor to our space—Scott Goodhart, joining us from Steamboat Springs with 17 years of teaching experience.
On May 13th, Scott will begin facilitating social dance workshops on Wednesday nights, starting with a 4-week series:
“Fundamentals of Social Dancing” — a welcoming, beginner-friendly journey through partner dance styles like Bachata, West Coast Swing, Rumba, Tango, and more.
But this series is about more than just steps.
Scott brings a thoughtful and empowering approach to partner dance—focusing on:
*consent and communication
*how to meet and connect with new partners
*the basics of touch, presence, and mutual respect
*how to say yes, no, and everything in between with clarity and ease
Good for all levels. No partner needed. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned veteran. Connect to yourself, your community, and the music. Escape from the hectic demands of every day life. Take an hour to escape from your phone. Dance shoes or socks (to adhere to the no outside shoes policy)
Whether you’re brand new or looking to deepen your foundation, this is a beautiful opportunity to build confidence, connection, and skill on the dance floor.
