Description
Finally! Achieve the rolls, biscuits, cakes, and cookies you love and crave, without the gluten. During class, we’ll unlock key gluten-free baking techniques to achieve the delicious tastes and textures you crave in baked goods.
Get to know ingredients like psyllium husk, create your own tangzhong (sometimes known as “water roux”), a technique used in creating a fluffy, hydrated texture in Japanese milk breads. You’ll also create your own all-purpose gluten-free flour blend—and understand the functions of each of the elements that go into it.
Note that while this class is focused on gluten-free ingredients and baking techniques, the class does not take place in a gluten-free baking facility, so please keep that in mind if you have a severe gluten allergy.
You will be working in a small group. For ages 13 and up.

At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.
For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
