This 1.5-hour class includes introductory information to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, which are often utilized by individuals with limited verbal skills. Attendees will learn about various devices, why and how they are used, funding options for the purchasing of devices, and ideas for incorporating AAC into your child’s daily life. Caregivers of children with limited verbal skills may consider attending both “Functional Communication Training” courses listed.
