This March Full Moon is bringing top tier talent! There will be a variety of styles from comedic to sensual, draglesque to classic, and perhaps the always impressive sing and fling. Not only will the top prize winners from our local Burlesque Got Skills 2025 competition be bringing their polished work, but the headliner for the evening will be the one and only Honey Bee Rose the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s 2024 Mx. Exotic World, Queen of Burlesque!
Known as the Glittering Goddess with the Heart of Gold, Honey Bee Rose is an electric, fun loving international burlesque headliner, producer, and emcee based in Chicago, USA. Performing professionally for a decade with the former name Ms. B LaRose, this fiery Filipina-Latina encapsulates the love of modern striptease storytelling. They are the first recipient of Chicago’s Gaggy’s Nightlife Award for Best Burlesque Entertainer of the Year, is Burlesque Hall of Fame’s 2024 Mx. Exotic World, Queen of Burlesque and is a part of Burlesque HerStory being featured in both Burlesque FilipinX and Latin & Hispanic Burlesque Hall of Fame Exhibitions.
A Beautiful Benevolent Benefactress, Queen Bee is the Director of Volunteers for Bawdy Suit’s “Juneteenth Jumpoff, Showcase of All Black Excellence” since 2021. And as Owner & Director of Honey Hive Productions LLC, her infamous showcases “STRIPPED” & co-production “Nudie Nubies Windy City Amateur Burlesque Competition” brings world class entertainment highlighting diversity & inclusivity for our BIPOC trans families building equity for artists alike.
Full Moon will also be hosting an additional session of Burlesque Crash Course: Developing Choreo from 2-4pm on March 14th before the show. Stellya Heart, Juniper Fox and Cherry Popper will give their approaches to choreo and tips on creating an act that is truly you. $10 per person.
